The lock behind the guarantee
The Ultion lock we fit is the Ultion 3 Star Plus with ALPS protection. Ultion says it stops 6 attack methods: drilling, picking, bumping and snapping, plus twisting and thermal. Ultion explains that standard 3-star locks protect against the four familiar methods of attack (bumping, drilling, picking and snapping), and that Ultion with ALPS technology also protects against twisting and thermal.
It has Ultion's patented SnapStop, TwistTrap and thermal exhaust ports, which Ultion says protect against twist attacks and thermal manipulation.

Do your doors still have multi-point locking?
Yes. The Ultion lock is the part you put the key in. It operates the door's high-security multi-point lock, which locks the door into the frame at several points when you lift the handle and turn the key.
What is Ultion Lockdown Mode?
Ultion says that inside every Ultion 3 and 3 PLUS door lock is an additional hidden lock, triggered when signs of forced entry are detected, which it calls LockDown Mode.
How do I look after an Ultion lock?
Ultion says its locks need lubricating with Ultion Lock Lubricant every 6 months to maintain the guarantee, and to use genuine Ultion keys only.
